Best Place to Park RV
1) Level as possible 2) Concrete > Asphalt > Gravel > Field 3) Face north as much as possible (shade on passenger side in PM) 4) Make sure you have an exit route 5) Shade trees are nice
Setting Up at Camp Site - Outside/Driver
1) Make sure site is level as possible 2) Put in Neutral, set parking brake (pull up), and turn off engine 3) If parking on asphalt, grass, or dirt, place Jack Pads under the levelers (small ones in front) 4) Turn on Auto-leveler and press Auto-Level 5) Once leveler beeps, should be level now (if not, go to note on leveling) 6) If 50amp power available, plug in surge protector and turn on breaker on post (takes about 2 minutes for power to come on) 7) Plug power cable into surge protector 8) If water available, use light blue hose in small/right bin to hook up to Fresh Water inlet. 8) Turn dial to "City Water" 9) If need to fill fresh water tank, move dial to "Tank Fill" and fill to Full on Control Panel 10) If using fresh water tank for water supply, turn dial to "Tank Water" after filling and turn on Water Pump with controls on door 11) Make sure Water Pump off when dial is not on Tank Water
Setting Up at Camp Site - Indoor/Support
1) Once Zack confirms it is level. Prep to open slides. If anything on front hooks make sure not in the way of slides 2) Do a walkthrough to make sure nothing fell in transit that would get in the way. 3) Open slides by selecting slides on hall panel (open all slides except Wardrobe. Open Wardrobe once Zack is done his set up outside) Makes it much easier to do the power and water 4) From switches inside front door - - Turn awnings on, open if not extremely windy - Turn on entry step 5) Fridge and freezer unlocked 6) Unlock dishwasher (while hooked to power or generator) hold down second button from left until lock light disappears. Confirm unocked 6) Unlock kitchen drawers (silverware, top and bottom right drawers) 7) If no electricity hook up, turn on fan above sink - remote on wall to left of fridge 8) Kitchen soap out of sink 9) Return rugs to proper place 10) Open Bunk doors 11) Bathrooms - Shower doors unlocked - Hand soaps out of sinks - Open fans - one in each bathroom if air not on - If not done already, in guest bathroom,- After tanks are dumped put tab (in container under sink) in toilet then flush for @ 30 seconds (have seat down when you flush, cuts down on the smell 😷
Prepping to Leave Camp - Outside/Driver
1) Make sure all awnings are in 2) Bring in all poles for flags, Starlink, LTE 3) Store all tents and pop-ups 4) Place all chairs/table/grill in basement storage 5) Stow Starlink (see detailed note) 6) Dump tanks and refill fresh water tank (see detailed note) 7) After dishwasher is locked, store power cord (remove surge protector from cord) 8) Bring in all slides carefully to make sure no objects in way inside and out 9) Confirm all inside prep steps are completed (see detailed note) 10) Turn on auto-leveler and push All Retract 11) Go outside and confirm all levelers have been retracted 12) Turn off leveler console 13) Make sure all blinds are up 14) Make sure no loose items are apparent 15) Turn ignition key 16) Look for errors if not cleared after a few minutes 17) Setup GPS directions to next destination 18) Setup music if desired 19) Adjust seat so comfortable and able to see through mirrors 20) Buckle seat belts 21) Push brake release down 22) Put into gear ("D") 23) Drive away carefully
Prepping to Leave Camp - Indoor/Support
1) Lock dishwasher (while hooked to power or generator) hold down second button from left until lock light appears and you hear a locking noise. Confirm locked 2) Front chairs adjusted so won't hit slides If anything on front hooks make sure not in the way of slides 3) From switches inside front door - - Make sure awnings in then turn awnings off - Turn off entry step 4) Fridge and freezer locked 5) Lock kitchen drawers (silverware, top and bottom right drawers) 6) Turn off fan above sink - remote on wall to left of fridge 7) Kitchen soap and gallon of water in sink 8) Ice scoop for ice maker, turn flat side down 9)Coffee holder - to cut down on noise I put a pot holder on each side Items on counters/Table secure 10) Bunk doors closed and strap thru closet handle secured 11) Bathrooms - Items in showers secured, put caddies on the shower floor - Shower doors locked - Toilet seats down - Washer/Dryer doors closed and closet door closed - Hand soaps in sinks - Close fans - one in each bathroom 12) All blinds up/windows closed 13) All cabinet door/drawers closed 14) All pocket doors locked open 15) Move kitchen carpets in to 2.5 tiles from each side, so the slides don't hit them 16) Turn off all lights 17) Do final walkthrough to make sure nothing on floor in way of slides. 18) Close slides, by selecting slides on hall panel
Dump Tanks/Fill Fresh Water
Dump Tanks (happens in just a few minutes if not flushing Black Tank) 1) Pull up to dump station (sewer connection is 2' in front of first rear tire) 2) Hook up sewer hose to RV 3) Place sewer hose clear adapter in sewer hole (make sure well secured) If time allows, hookup black flush hose (dark blue one in big/left bin) to non-potable water source and Black Tank Flush inlet and turn on water 4) Pull Black handle to dump Black Tank 5) Wait for Black tank to empty or run clear with Black Flush running 6) Turn off and unhook Black Flush 7) Close Black Tank via black handle 8) Pull Grey handle to dump Grey Tank 9) Close Handle when empty 10) Both tanks should show "E" on the monitor 11) Remove sewer hose from RV 12) Run non-potable water through sewer hose to sewer 13) Clean and return black hoses to big/left bin Fill Fresh Water Tank (Can take time if Fresh Tank is low) 1) Move Dial to "Tank Fill" 2) Hookup Blue hose to Fresh Water inlet 3) Hookup hose to Fresh Water/Potable Water faucet 4) Turn on water and turn off once monitor shows Full ("F") 5) Turn Dial to Tank Water 6) Clean and return hose to small/right bin 7) Turn on Water Pump from console or bathroom buttons
Stow Starlink
1) With new dish, just remove cord from dish 2) Place dish inside RV 3) To setup just plugin cord and place on ground with clear view of north sky
